This position will provide the necessary support in the Veterinary Medical Center (VMC) ambulatory service of the West Metro Equine Practice (WMEP).The West Metro Equine Practice (WMEP) office is located in Long Lake, which is about 25 miles West of the Piper Equine Hospital/Leatherdale Equine Center (on the St. Paul Campus of the University of Minnesota).  WMEP provides service within a 35-mile radius and beyond for special circumstances.  Three WMEP vehicles are utilized for appointments and emergencies.  WMEP is equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, extracorporeal shockwave, an upper airway endoscope, three motorized dentistry setups, and access to other equipment at the Piper Equine Hospital.
