Alta Sierra Veterinary Hospital is located in Show Low, AZ, the Gateway to Arizona's White Mountains where the quality of life is unparalleled.  Show Low is a southwestern, mid-elevation mountain community that enjoys four distinct seasons, cool summers, and white winters.  It’s a great place to raise a family with wonderful schools, many job opportunities, and plenty of outdoor recreational activities.  The area is famous for its world class hunting and fishing and includes scenic mountain biking, hiking, skiing, & kayaking.  We are also conveniently located less than 3 hours from Tucson, Phoenix, & Flagstaff.

Since 1996, we have stayed true to our mission of providing quality medicine in a small-town environment.  We are now seeking an enthusiastic Associate Veterinarian, motivated to care for our loyal clients and their pets, and willing to embrace our mission just as much as we do! We currently have 2 full-time veterinarians and our facility includes: six exam rooms, a comfort room, a dedicated dental suite, brand new well-equipped surgical suite, endoscopy, comprehensive diagnostic in-house lab, digital & dental radiology, ultrasound, therapeutic laser, computerized workstations throughout the hospital, and paper-lite record keeping.

Although our current patients are primarily small animal, we would love to expand our equine, bovine, small ruminant, and exotic caseload, currently comprising 20% of our patient visits.  We welcome all levels of interest and experience – you bring the passion and we’ll bring the collaboration!

Our compensation and benefit plans are also generous, competitive, and commensurate with experience, including: 

• Signing bonus and/or relocation assistance up to $40,000
• ProSal compensation (base salary starting at $100,000) with 20 – 21% production
