Sage Veterinary Center is seeking a veterinarian to join our growing team. Part or full time employment opportunities depending on applicant availability and preference. Flexible schedule with full-time benefits starting at 34 hours/week. Weekday hours are 9 am-6 pm and Saturday schedule is 9 am -1 pm. We are closed sundays. NO on call or after hours work. Pay is negotiable and based on experience and desired schedule.

Our team of experienced technicians and assistants have been trained to make your job easier by assisting with callbacks, client emails, and scribing. The space has been carefully designed to be warm and inviting, removing the cold hospital feeling that can create stress for pets and owners alike. We make a consistent attempt to practice fear free handling and are in the process of pursuing AAHA certification. We are a progressive practice, offering high quality medicine and all of the necessary tools to perform it. We are equipped with in-house ultrasound, in-house IDEXX lab, digital radiography and digital dental x-ray, an emergency Oxygen cage, an isolation ward, large surgical suite, high speed dental equipment, and advanced anesthesia monitoring. We have a traveling speciality team we use for advanced orthopedic/ advanced soft tissue surgeries, ultrasound and echocardiography. We also offer a canine rehabilitation program, with cold laser, acupuncture, and a soon to be added water treadmill. We are a full digital practice with electronic medical records and use text/email as our primary form of client communication. Our veterinarians are encouraged to practice medicine as individual professionals, we want to support you to be happy in this profession!

We are situated right off of Hamilton Park in a boisterous neighborhood filled with multiple restaurants. Located on the ground floor of a luxury apartment building, we have access to their amenities during business hours - namely a gorgeous roof deck overlooking the NYC skyline. We are centrally located to public transit and typically have street parking readily available

The ideal candidate will have prior clinical experience, strong communication skills, a desire to perform thorough workups, an interest in pursuing progressive medicine, and the ability to work as a team player.
