Our hospital is located just minutes from Savannah in the heart of Georgia’s beautiful tidelands and the coastal empire. This thriving and expanding historic location offers plenty to do. From local boating, fishing, beach days and other outdoor activities to the art, culture, history, architecture, and award-winning dining of Savannah and the surrounding areas; the low country has it all.
Both experienced veterinarians and new graduates are welcomed to apply. All candidates must display an ability to provide outstanding wellness and preventative care as well as an interest in working up and collaborating on in-depth medical and surgical cases.
Our full time associates practice four days/week 8AM-6PM. No after-hours emergency service is expected. There are multiple fully-staffed, after hours and 24-7 emergency/critical care facilities in the area. We pride ourselves on being an upbeat, supportive, and collaborative team focused on excellent patient and client care and are seeking a candidate who embodies that spirit. In return, we strive to promote good work/life balance and promote professional growth.
Our brand new, privately owned hospital is an approximately 10,000sqft facility offering 7 exam rooms; a fully-stocked pharmacy; a spacious in-house laboratory; an expansive, naturally lit treatment area; dedicated canine and feline ICU areas with oxygen; a separately functioning isolation unit for management of contagious disease; a substantial surgery suite including two OR’s with advanced soft-tissue and orthopedic instrumentation, a dental suite, and a devoted recovery area; and a centrally-located office for associate veterinarians. In addition to six experienced veterinarians, we maintain a staff of trained registered veterinary technicians and skilled assistants to support you and allow you to focus on obtaining a diagnosis and implementing a comprehensive treatment plan.
We promote excellent history-taking, full physical exams, and a diagnostic-based approach that our clients support and have come to expect. Our electronic medical records, full in-house diagnostic lab, digital full body and dental radiography, abdominal ultrasound/echocardiogram capabilities (specialist reviewed), EKG, Doppler, access to a full spectrum of outside diagnostic labs, and a host of other diagnostic tools will allow you to provide answers to your clients’ questions. Our ICUs include all of the implements needed to fully support hospitalized care, and our surgery suite comes equipped with all appropriate instrumentation and anesthetic monitoring devices, in-wall suction, orthopedic kits, surgical laser, and a high-speed dental unit.
We promote safe anesthetic practices, monitoring, and recovery while performing both routine and advanced soft tissue and orthopedic procedures. We also have access to nearby specialty practices that include dermatology, ophthalmology, oncology, cardiology, neurology, internal medicine, surgery, and rehabilitation. Our primary interest is in advancing the treatment of our patients. We are open to offering new services and place focus on doing our part to foster the specific areas of professional interest of our team members.
We have positioned ourselves as a team dedicated to patient and client care. Our attention to detail, efforts to go the extra mile, and client education and communication have built a very loyal clientele who would welcome a new associate. We look forward to a new teammate who displays similar dedication.
