Perry Hall Animal Hospital in Perry Hall, MD, is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian who shares our passion for treating our patients both physically and psychologically. Job Description
You will be a proactive member of a team of Veterinarians and pet nurses dedicated to providing excellent patient care and client service. Your day-to-day will include appointments and/or surgical/dental procedures.
We are an appointment only small animal practice which sometimes does see emergencies on a case to case basis. Overnight care for critical patients would be referred to the local emergency clinic.
Our team of experienced technicians give you the freedom to practice with the full support of our sophisticated in-house lab, digital regular and dental radiography, ultrasound, electrocautery, companion laser therapy, IV fluid pumps, and more.
Hours are flexible Monday through Friday with at least one day off during the week and two Saturdays a month.
Qualifications
You must meet the minimum requirements of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or Veterinariae Medicinae Doctoris (VMD), License to practice veterinary medicine in Maryland, and DEA license.
Additional consideration will be given to candidates that have a passion for continued learning and improvement, demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills, and ability to perform all standard surgeries and dentals. We are currently seeking someone with at least 2 years of experience. Full and part-time opportunities will be considered.
