We are in need of small animal, and mixed animal associates. We have open positions for both interests and also for anyone who likes to work with exotics. You will find that our practice is unique in that our team is comprised of positive minded people who work well together and look out for each other. We are organized, the staff is well trained, and work is a pleasure, not a pain. As a doctor, you spend your time doing what you were trained to do-examine, diagnose, treat pets. The staff is fantastic at completing what is needed for each case. We offer state of the art tools to help you accomplish your goals. We love to mentor and are good at it. The hospital is AAHA accredited and uses Fear Free methods to handle the pets. Your schedule can be what you desire-we are flexible and can make your dream a reality. We know the importance of quality of life and work to see that everyone has it. Pay is on production so if you practice quality medicine and surgery as we do, your income for a full time position would be between $110,000-175,000/year with benefits on top of that (401K w/ 6% match, health insurance, licenses, vacation, CE), plus a $15,000 special compensation bonus. We do include a base salary at the rate of $100,000/year for the first 6 months of employment while you are becoming acclimated to our practice. Citrus County Florida is a wonderful place to live. We have lots of outdoor activities: biking, boating, fishing, kayaking, golf to name a few-many lakes and rivers to explore. The county is not the Florida you think of. Countryside Animal Clinic is a 4,000 sq. ft. AAHA-certified full-service veterinary medical facility serving cat, dog, avian, reptile & horse patients of Citrus County from our office in Beverly Hills, Florida. We also treat the occasional goat and pot-bellied pig-several of our doctors treat avian, reptile and pocket pet patients. It is our philosophy to treat our clients and patients fairly & compassionately. We practice team based management and truly do work as a team. Our team enjoys what we do and working with each other. We offer the best treatment options for each patient, letting the client decide what they want to do. We use Fear Free techniques in handling our patients. We employ 7 veterinarians, 6 CVT's, 14 Vet Assistants, 5 receptionists & 2 groomers. Many of our staff are long-term employees (several have been on our team for 25+ years). We do not tolerate bad behavior from clients or staff. We have two managers who keep the hospital running smoothly.
