We are seeking to hire an Associate Veterinarian for a full OR part time position. We happily welcome applications from both new graduates and experienced veterinarians alike. We are a small, Independently Owned, single doctor practice- proudly serving companion animals in Waynesville, NC!

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a full or part time DVM to fill a new position in our small animal practice. This opening is not due to a departing DVM, but rather, created to support the steady growth of our practice. We are a full service hospital, and while we offer surgical procedures and dentals, we are not requiring applicants to have prior surgical experience. For new graduate veterinarians, we provide a mentorship opportunity for you to build your skills while working one on one with our owner/DVM who has an impressive 43 years in the field.

The Qualifications:
As with all DVM positions in North Carolina, we require the following: 

• DVM degree from an accredited university
• Licensure in good standing in the state of North Carolina
• Affinity for all animals! We love cats, dogs, and pocket pets alike! (Exotics experience/work is not required though!) 
• The ability to make prudent decisions regarding the welfare and well-being of your patients 

DEA License is not required, but it is preferred
