Job Summary
Veterinarians provide healthcare treatment to animals. Primarily, veterinarians administer medication, and vaccinations, perform surgeries, and provide general health care for companion animals. By combining personal observations, the owner’s perspective, and pertinent diagnostic tests such as blood tests, x-rays, and CT scans, veterinarians aim to effectively treat and prevent diseases in animals.
Essential Functions/Position Description:
· Diagnose and treat animals with illnesses and injuries
· Carry out surgical operations on animals
· Vaccinate animals against preventable diseases
· Operate medical and diagnostic equipment used in animal treatment
· Educate animal owners on animal behavior, feeding needs, the effect of weather on animals, etc.
· Write prescriptions

Education and/or Work Experience:
Current Florida license and exceptional people skills
