South Federal Animal Hospital is an independently owned, AAHA – accredited, well-equipped, small animal practice located in the heart of downtown Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Fort Lauderdale is best known for its beaches, arts, culture and events. Our hospital was established in 1969 and over the years has developed strong partnerships with the local community.
The SFAH family currently consists of 3 full-time veterinarians and a dedicated support staff with low staff turnover. We recently relocated into a brand new animal hospital. We have 5 exam rooms, a comfort room, full in-house laboratory, therapy laser, digital radiography, ultrasound, dental suite with dental x-ray, and surgery suite with full anesthesia monitoring systems.
We are looking for a Veterinarian to join our wonderful team, full time or part-time (experienced or new graduate). The ideal candidate must be friendly, personable and a team player with strong time management and communication skills, and a positive attitude.
For experienced veterinarians, SFAH is an ideal environment to hone new skills or explore and develop new interests. Our full-time veterinarians work 40 hrs/week with NO after-hours emergencies, No holidays and No Sundays. We are open Monday-Friday from 8:00am until 5:30pm and Saturdays from 8:00am until noon. We work closely with several emergency clinics in the area, as well as numerous specialty clinics that provide access to Board Certified Specialist’s.
