General Requirements

• Provide care to canine and feline patients.
• Conduct wellness, sick, and urgent care examinations of pets to ensure their current health status, and identify any areas of concern or cause of illness.
• Assess test results and images for general health condition and diagnostic purposes.
• Prescribe appropriate medications to address health concerns and illnesses.
• Council clients on vaccination plans, risk-based vaccines, and vaccine schedules for their pet.
• Make referrals to specialists when medically necessary
• Perform standard spays and neuters where qualified on feline and canine patients.
• Follow-up with clients after treatment of their pet where necessary
