Hudson Animal Hospital of Hudson, MA is looking for a full-time associate veterinarian to join our supportive and dedicated practice. Our hospital has been providing quality veterinary care to cats, dogs, and pocket pets for over 37 years. We have a reputation for providing high quality, compassionate care to an established and loyal, yet growing client base.
This is a full-time position offering a 4-day work week, with rotating Saturdays and no on-call or after-hours requirements.
The town of Hudson in the MetroWest area, is less than an hour from Boston. Our downtown area has recently gone through a revitalization and is now home to new restaurants, breweries, a micro-creamery, boutique retail shops, and seasonal farmers markets. The area also has many outdoor activities including hiking and biking the Assabet River Rail Trail, challenge courses at Boundless Adventures, picnics and wine tasting at Nashoba Winery, and visiting our many local orchards. And with an above average school rating, Hudson truly has something for everyone.
Our hospital is equipped with digital x-rays, digital dental x-ray, in-house lab equipment and ultrasound capabilities. We use Cornerstone software for paperless recordkeeping.
We have great relationships with local board-certified specialists including internists, a cardiologist and surgeon who are available for in hospital consultations, ultrasound, endoscopy, and orthopedic and soft tissue surgical procedures. Most cases are handled in-house, with multiple tertiary care centers available locally for more complicated cases and 24-hour care.
Our group of experienced doctors, along with skilled CVTs and long-tenured team members, strive to treat our communities’ small animals with sincere compassion that our clients have come to expect and appreciate. We take great pride in educating our clients about their pets’ health and welfare, and the ideal candidate should value the same.
This candidate would also possess excellent communication skills, compassion, and critical thinking. A candidate with surgical experience is preferred, but there is opportunity for the right new graduate to be welcomed.
