Santa Fe Animal Shelter in beautiful Santa Fe, New Mexico is currently seeking a Shelter Medical Director to oversee the medical program for sheltered animals including high-quality humane medical care to shelter animals, spay/neuter procedures, a variety of surgical procedures, treatment of a wide range of medical conditions, and herd health maintenance. The Medical Director creates and implements protocols for shelter medicine and the flow of animals through SFAS and is the license holder for the shelter facility. The Medical Director also functions as a Shelter Clinic Veterinarian.
