Our practice has been serving the avian and exotics community for over 25 years and is recognized as one of the best practices in the industry. Our case load consists of 70% avian, 20% small mammal, and 10% reptile, dog, and cat.
Excellent mentoring opportunities from an ABVP board certified veterinarian in avian specialty in the practice setting. We have four full time veterinarians and 1 part time. Our technician team is well trained and knowledgeable.
Our practice has state of the art equipment including a fully staffed lab with 3 in house chemistry machines, culture ability, CBC machine, cytology abilities, sevoflurane anesthesia, digital dental and table radiology, endoscopy, low level laser therapy, ultrasound and electrosurgery system. We are equipped for and encourage full workups of our patients.
Florida license. If you have held an active license in another US state for over 3 years, you have the option to apply for licensure by endorsement. You’ll pay a $605 application fee, and still take the Florida Veterinary Medicine Laws and Rules Exam, but you get to skip your NAVLE score transfer.
