Veterinary Residency Training (ACVP, ACLAM) with Research Opportunities
The Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Pathology, College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at Colorado State University offers post-DVM graduate training positions in comparative pathology. The program is designed to culminate in specialty board certification and granting of MS or PhD degrees. Residency training is facilitated by a diverse faculty, 27 of whom are ACVP, ACVM or ACLAM board certified. Graduate research opportunities include, but are not limited to, the study of bacterial and viral pathogenesis/therapy, mycobacterial diseases, arthropod borne infectious disease, retrovirus pathogenesis/therapy, transmissible spongiform encephalopathies, immunoparasitology, malarial molecular biology and immunology, vector biology, ecological parasitology and cancer
