Emmitsburg Veterinary Hospital is looking for a veterinarian to join our family! We are an established, full-service animal hospital that has been emphasizing the highest quality veterinary care for dogs and cats since 1990. Our skilled and tight-knit team, which includes 5 RVT’s, are dedicated to our patients and clients.

We are currently under a full remodel that is almost complete! This is a great opportunity to practice in a soon-to-be fully remodeled space.

We offer chiropractic, acupuncture and shock wave therapy one day per week to our patients.
We are looking to add a new ultrasound machine to our equipment for an interested doctor.
We work with multiple rescue organizations, including Forever Love Rescue, Cuddles Cat Rescue, and 50 Shades Cat Rescue.
Our DVM role:
This is a great opportunity to expand your medical interests in a supportive and collaborative environment.
A new graduate will be successful under the mentorship and guidance of our experienced doctors and support staff.
There are no after hours requirements for our doctors!
Our schedule is flexible: 4 days per week with rotating half-day (8am-12pm) Saturdays.
Our appointments are 30 minutes for both sick and wellness.
We are looking for a doctor that enjoys surgery. We have a doctor on staff currently that would help with the surgery load and we are happy to mentor an eager new graduate!
