The CVP hospital network includes opportunities in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery, Exotic Animal Medicine, Mixed Animal Practice, Integrative Treatments, Emergency Services, and a unique Small Animal Clinical Trial Externship. Visits can be tailored to your individual interests and needs, to best augment your learning experience, availability and school curriculum.
Visiting students can expect to grow and improve in the areas of leadership, communication problem-solving and technical skills . Typical responsibilities- based on individual location and mentor approval- may include performing physical exams, assisting with case work ups, refining practical skills, assisting with dentals, observing/scrubbing into surgery and much more!

Currently enrolled in good academic standing at accredited Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program
Authorized to work in the United States
Must carry professional liability coverage through SAVMA or other similar entity
