Come join our team as a large animal, small animal our mixed animal veterinarian in a 5-doctor practice. We look forward to mentoring new graduates and support special interests. Our goal is to provide quality care for our clients animals, both large and small. Our practice provides a diverse variety of experiences.
Compensation is negotiable and includes a signing bonus and student loan assistance as well as health insurance, liability insurance, paid personal time off, vacation time, CE time off and expenses, disability insurance, association dues, and a profit sharing retirement plan with a 401K option.
We are looking for a person interested in small or mixed animal practice and can be flexible with work hours as needed.
DVM degree.
License in good standing in the state of Illinois.
FIVE-DOCTOR MIXED ANIMAL PRACTICE in north-central Illinois. Established for over 50 years. 2 doctors doing mixed animal, 1 doctor doing small animal, and 1 doctor doing large animal. Cornerstone practice software, ultrasound, therapeutic laser, Idexx in-house laboratory, digital radiography. Clinic includes attached large animal haul in facility.
Practice is located in historic Princeton, Illinois, which has a population of 7700. It is 1 hour from the Quad Cities, 1 hour from Peoria, 1 1/2 hours from Rockford, and 2 hours from Chicago. An Amtrak stop in town provides several opportunities for travel to Chicago or areas west and south daily. Located within a short drive of Starved Rock State Park, the Illinois-Michigan Canal and Hennepin Canal parks, and the Illinois River. Princeton has a strong community spirit with good schools and many community activities during the year including Festival 56 Theatre performances, Community Band and Choir, Street Band concerts several times each summer, Chamber of Commerce Events throughout the year including 2 festivals each summer.
