Why Albany, Georgia?
Whether it be hunting, hiking, fishing, etc., Albany is the perfect place to get outdoors and connect with nature. Our city has the lure of a small town while being just a short drive away from the beaches of Florida or bustling metropolitan areas like Atlanta. Our part of the peach state is full of historical towns where one can admire Victorian architecture or go antiquing. Albany sits at the center of Southwest Georgia, a storied region closely tied to America’s early Native American culture, Southern hospitality and the time-less sport of fishing and hunting. Lying below the land around Albany is the Floridan Aquifer, an ocean of fresh water that feeds the area’s rivers and creeks.
