Jupiter Veterinary Hospital and Urgent Care is looking to add another veterinarian to our fun and growing team.
We are a privately owned GP and urgent care hospital on weekends offering an array of wellness and sick services. We have a modern facility with 4 exam rooms. Our hospital is equipped with cloud-based EMR, digital x-rays (that are read by board-certified radiologists), ultrasound, laser, and a full suite of in-house lab equipment. We pride ourselves on good communication and client education.
We are seeking a skilled, efficient, caring, kind and compassionate veterinarian with leadership skills to join our general practice. We primarily see dogs and cats, but exotics and/or pocket pets experience is a big plus. Candidate should practice high quality, progressive medicine and be able to multi-task throughout their shifts. Candidate must be able to perform spays and neuters and basic soft tissue surgery.
Schedule is very negotiable. We are looking to fill 2 or 3 days a week (close at 5pm, no evenings) and every other Saturday. Negotiable schedule for full-time. We are offering an excellent compensation package (Salary or ProSal), healthcare including medical, dental and vision, 401k matching, vacation, CE allowance, paid licensing fees, AVMA and state professional dues, PLIT, and discounted veterinary care.

Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive veterinary care for a variety of animals, ensuring their health and well-being.
Conduct routine examinations, diagnose illnesses, and administer appropriate treatments.
Utilize veterinary terminology and knowledge of animal anatomy and physiology in patient assessments.
Handle and restrain animals safely during procedures, ensuring minimal stress.
Educate pet owners on proper animal care, nutrition, and preventive health measures.
Maintain accurate medical records and collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality care.
