College Village Animal Clinic is looking to add an Associate Veterinarian to our team.
A full time associate is needed for a growing AAHA accredited, privately owned, multi-doctor companion animal hospital in Anchorage, Alaska.
We are looking for an upbeat, outgoing doctor with excellent communication & interpersonal skills and a great sense of humor about life to join our team.
Required Experience: Essential is a love for animals and their people. Experience is preferred but we have successfully mentored recent graduates. Applicants need to be licensed to practice as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in the State of Alaska. Must demonstrate the ability to work cooperatively with others along with the ability to communicate, educate and advocate for the best medical care for each patient.

Who is College Village Animal Clinic? Locally owned 50+ years, College Village Animal Clinic is a privately-held AAHA credited hospital with 5 doctors in Anchorage, Alaska. We have excellent clientele who expect compassionate, competent and very personalized care for their pets. Newly remodeled in 2025, CVAC is a fully equipped hospital with Ultra Sound, Digital Radiography, Digital Dental Radiography, Endoscopy, multiple Pulse Oximeters & IV Infusion Pumps and in-house lab. We have integrated Electronic Medical Records and operate in a paper lite environment. Our highly trained support staff is enthusiastic with a strong emphasis on teamwork and coordination. An active interest in Avian and Exotic care is an asset. Experience is welcomed but we have successfully mentored new graduates.
The clinic operates Monday to Friday hours between 7:00am and 7:00pm with varying schedules; rotational Saturdays with hours between 9:00am and 5:00pm....
