Equine Ambulatory Practice Internship
Do you think you have what it takes to make it as an ambulatory equine veterinarian?  We can teach you to be successful in this challenging, and deeply rewarding profession.  Our internship program is designed to provide mentorship to new equine veterinarians as they become the veterinarian that provides the first-opinion on challenging cases. It is our belief that simply completing school and becoming a licensed veterinarian does not fully prepare anyone for equine ambulatory practice. Often the reality of this profession is far different from the expectations of recent graduates. A recent study reported that almost 2/3 of graduating veterinarians that want to be equine veterinarians change to another species or quit the profession altogether within the first few years of their career.
