Internship in Radiation Oncology
The Department of Small Animal Clinical Sciences at the College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Florida, has on position for internship training in Radiation oncology, beginning in September of 2019. The internship program consists of one year of training, is intended to prepare the applicant to pursue a career in radiation oncology and as such, the intern will have primary case responsibilities and will assist with diagnostic procedures and therapeutic planning for radiation oncology cases. Training is supervised by Dr. Keijiro Shiomitsu, a board certified Veterinary Radiation Oncologist, in coordination with the integrated oncology service. The oncology service at the University of Florida is a comprehensive cancer treatment facility with surgical, medical and radiation oncology
