Clinical Veterinary Instructor, Equine Emergency
The NC State Equine Hospital invites applications for a Clinical Veterinary Instructor, Equine Emergency. The Equine Emergency service is overseen by specialists with board certification in Equine Surgery and Equine Critical Care. The ambulatory service is a new section within the Emergency Service that will see on-farm primary emergency cases from local subscribing practices on weekdays from 5 pm to 8 am Monday through Thursday, and on the weekends from 5pm Friday through 8 am Monday. Local practices are able to join this service, which will provide emergency services for the practice through a monthly subscription fee. The service will employ two clinicians, who will split the on-call hours. Emergency case load for this new service is projected to be 552 cases annuall
