If you are a veterinarian with at least one year of experience and are looking to migrate south during the cold season we would love to have you join us seasonally!
FCNMHP is a busy, high-volume, non-profit, Access to Veterinary Care Clinic at one location (with 7 current staff DVMs) as well as a HQHVSN facility that is one of that largest in the nation. We are on the coast in Jacksonville, Florida.
We are still facing a higher than average demand for services and are still expanding our team. We work with Interns, externs and students from UF during many of the summer months and can support a partial role for a seasonal veterinarian during Fall, winter +/- spring.
We are not a shelter and we are not a private practice but an amazing hybrid with the goal of making veterinary care accessible to all in the most practical and elevated way we can. We provide wellness care, urgent and emergency care, dentistry, soft tissue surgery and limited orthopedics along with full service diagnostics of bloodwork, ultrasound and digital radiology.
For this position, we would be able to negotiate a tailored full or part-time role with competitive salary/benefits (including PSLF if applicable) that can start/stop as you need to migrate North/South. Flexible scheduling in all departments (surgery, dentistry, clinics, S/N, telemedicine, etc..)
If you think this would work for you—let’s discuss!!!
