Lakeside Veterinary Services, a growing, privately owned small animal clinic, is seeking
a full-time associate DVM. Located in the beautiful Finger Lakes region of NY State, an
outdoor lover’s paradise with four seasons of recreational activity. We are a busy companion animal
practice with an energetic team and a passion for veterinary care. Our team is community oriented and
focused on providing affordable quality medicine to a diverse client base. We offer a full in-house
laboratory, laser therapy, general surgery and dental, digital x-ray, ultrasound, and web support platforms. Quality
of work life is an essential part of our day-to-day operation. New grads are encouraged to apply. Come practice the craft of veterinary medicine in a strong mentoring environment where you will be given the time to build your surgery and diagnostic skills. Benefits include a sign on bonus, school loan support, generous CE Allowance, medical/dental, paid vacation, dues and license fees, and an IRA contribution. The Finger Lakes region is comprised of 11 freshwater lakes in the south-central portion of NY State.
Lakeside Veterinary Services is situated at the base of Seneca Lake, the largest Finger Lake at 38 miles
long and 618 feet deep at its deepest. This region of NY State is known nationally as a premier wine
producing area of the United States, specifically due to the sloping hillsides and modulating temperature
of the deepwater lakes. The region also encompasses many craft breweries and distilleries, as well as
eateries that cater to a robust agritourism industry. Additionally, the Finger Lakes region host state and
national forests with multitude of managed trails for hiking, skiing, and horseback riding.
