Enjoy your work and enjoy your life. That’s what we believe. To that end, hours of operation are 8:30am-6pm Monday through Friday, and all staff including doctors take a 1-hour lunch. There is no boarding or grooming so we can focus on medical care, and each Doctor has a designated anesthetic procedure day. Our practice management software is AviMark, and we are paper-light, working towards paperless. Our enthusiastic, skilled support staff includes our Lead Technician with 24 years of experience with the practice, as well as a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager.

We believe that the best patient care and client service should dictate our practices, not the Profit & Loss Statement. If we practice good medicine and surgery, the numbers will take care of themselves. We focus on building client relationships with 30-minute appointments and maintain the philosophy of vaccinating appropriately, tailoring protocols to patient lifestyle and risk.

Currently a 3-doctor team, we are looking to replace one who is sadly leaving us to move up north to be closer to family. Ideally, you will have at least 2 years small animal clinical experience as well as competent routine surgical and dental skills. Very desirable: small mammal/exotic and/or avian experience or interest in developing this patient base, to be mentored by the Practice Owner.

If you are considering relocating here from out of state, just think of not having harsh weather, freezing temperatures, or digging your car out of a snowbank this winter. Also, Florida has no state income tax. We will consider compensation for relocation expenses for an excellent candidate.

COMPENSATION:

• $105K-$130K DOE as a guaranteed base, plus 20% production bonus over base
• 4 weeks total allowed time off per year, for any/all purposes (vacation, sick, CE, family, etc.)
• Medical/dental/vision 70% paid by the practice

We moved in 2018 to a newly constructed modern 3600 sq. ft. facility featuring plenty of natural light, 4 exam rooms, digital radiography, laser therapy, dentistry, a surgical suite, 3 bay treatment area, Zoetis in house blood/urine/fecal analysis, Antech reference lab, and more.
