Enjoy your life and your career! Our five-doctor family-owned and operated animal hospital is looking for a sixth exceptional full-time veterinarian to join us in a trendy urban downtown neighborhood of Miami. 

We have in-house Idexx blood machines with Sedivue and ProCyte Dx, in-house ultrasound, digital radiology, digital dental radiology (included in all dental prophylaxis packages), Dentalaire dental machines with high speed drills, Heated surgery table and VetBedJet warm air systems for patient comfort, Bionet BM7 anesthesia monitors, CO2 Laser, and a paperless practice management system with Avimark.  You'll even have your very own desk, computer, and phone in our newly remodeled bougie Doctor's Office.  

We are a fun-loving, kindhearted, and helpful team that works hard to build meaningful relationships with our clients and offer them the absolute best care for their pets. We enjoy each other’s company, laugh when we can, and have a wonderful culture of relaxed, supportive and collaborative veterinarians and support staff.  

• We’re closed on Sundays and holidays, and do not take after-hours calls or emergencies (we're only open for six hours on Saturdays)
• Our appointment blocks are at least 30 minutes each, with 45-60 minutes for sick patients/work ups  
• We go home on time--this is important for our entire team to ensure we all have enough time to recharge, relax, and refuel 
• We block one hour for lunch daily, and we block off 30 minutes each day to catch up on charts, phone calls, etc.
• The average work week consist of 35 ½ hours
• Freedom to practice the way you want and the ability to bounce your cases off your colleagues and learn from theirs—our docs have their own private office with their own individual desks, phones and computers so there are ample opportunities to share exciting cases, or even discuss new fabulous dinner spots and fun things to do in South Florida
• Every other weekend off rotates between a three- or four-day weekend easily allowing for trips to the Florida Keys, the Bahamas, Beaches on the west coast, Theme Parks in Orlando, and other great vacation destinations
• We’ll take care of the usual benefits such as:
• 15 days PTO
• medical, dental, and vision insurance,
• paid CE expenses,
• 401K with 4% matching starts 30 days after hiring,
• licenses and membership dues are paid
• and pet care including free blood work, vaccines, flea, tick and heartworm prevention, and discounted pet food and meds

We also have an amazing, down-to-earth practice manager who makes sure our docs and team are taken care of and the hospital is well stocked and running efficiently.
