Wellness care is important, but our doctors prefer the challenge and rewards of treating the sick and injured. We work long shifts (12-13 hours) three days a week and enjoy our time off!

Our facility can't be beat - our 12,500sf emergency hospital (no specialty, all ER) was completed in September 2023. We are so happy for this space!

We are open to experienced emergency vets, new grads, and anyone in between. We believe in strong mentorship and hold regular case reviews. 

We pay all of our team members by the hour - it is your time that you are giving us, and we respect that. Production tends to cause in-fighting over cases or who-gets-paid-for-what procedure or service, and negative accrual is stressful for everyone.

About Frisco Emergency Pet Care

Frisco Emergency Pet Care is an independent 24/7 emergency practice delivering high-quality care to cats and dogs north of Dallas in Frisco, Texas. We just moved into a beautiful free-standing building three times the size of our previous location. This size allows room for an indoor dog walk, 3D CT, a second surgical theater, and our social workers have their office. We hire, fire, and make all other business decisions according to our core values: Compassion, Integrity, and Teamwork. All of our employees are paid hourly - no pressure hitting a quota or trying to sell a service - we just offer the best medicine. If clients decline, we recommend Plan B, always advocating for our patients. We have a dedicated paraprofessional team and good collaboration among the doctors. We see lots of challenging cases and thrive on helping our patients and their human families.
