About Glenmoore Veterinary Hospital:
We are a small animal veterinary hospital located in Chester County, PA. We see a wide variety of clients, and patients, including avian, reptiles, and exotic pocket pets. We have a beautiful, state-of-the-art facility, full of the newest diagnostics available, and a great team of supportive staff.
An important part of our practice is to give back to the veterinary community. A flexible externship, tailored to you and your program’s specific needs and your schedule.
Structured program that includes observation/shadowing, aiding with consultations on diagnostics, and working alongside skilled clinicians to discuss and recommend potential treatments for individual cases.
Work experience on a variety of case and animal types, including both medical and surgical cases
360-degree mentorship throughout the program
Real-world application your knowledge and skills in a safe learning environment, with the support of a great veterinary team.
Practice and guidance in refining communication and time management skills.
Hands-on experience with a variety of diagnostic equipment.
Requirements:
Current enrollment in a VMD or DVM program.
Authorization to work in the US.
Current liability insurance. AVMA PLIT is free for all student members.
