Full-Time Staff Veterinarian Position Available

PETCARE Animal Hospital is a beautiful full-service general practice in South Jordan, Utah. South Jordan is a southern suburb of Salt Lake City and provides easy access to our 5 National Parks, skiing, hiking and other outdoor activities.

PETCARE Animal Hospital is independently operated by Scott Matheson DVM DABVP (Canine & Feline Practice) and Darin Emch DVM. Both doctors have extensive experience in general and emergency practices. Doctor Matheson has wide experience with orthopedic and soft tissue surgery and is willing to mentor any doctor with similar interests. 

Hours:

• Open 7 days a week (Mon-Fri 8am-6pm, Sat-Sun 9am-5pm)
• Closed for Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, July 24th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas (multiple days) and New Year’s Day.
• After hours we refer cases to some awesome local 24-hour facilities.

Staff:

• PETCARE has a full complement of veterinary nurse-technicians, hospital assistants and receptionists. 
• We try to provide superior service and have fun at the same time. 

Schedule: 

• 4 days a week with rotations on weekend shifts. 

Salary: 

• Payment on commission. 
• For the first year a new doctor has the option of a fixed salary of $100,000.

Signing Bonus: 

• Negotiable depending upon qualifications.
