								<description>Sunbury, Pennsylvania,  We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate veterinarian to join our team in a general practice setting, focusing on the examination and treatment of small animals (primarily dogs and cats with some pocket pets/exotics). As a small animal veterinarian, you will be responsible for conducting routine checkups, providing preventive care, diagnosing illnesses, and developing treatment plans for sick animals. Your role will involve interacting with pet owners to educate them on proper animal care and answer any questions or concerns they may have. In addition, you will work closely with a team of veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure the highest quality of care for our patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for animal welfare and a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of pets and their owners. 
 This full-time position requires working 4 days a week, with one weekend shift per month to provide continuity of care for our patients. The clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and tools to support your work in delivering exceptional veterinary care.  Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent

 We would prefer the veterinarian in this role to have 5 years of experience or be internship trained.&#xa0; This position offers the opportunity to practice urgent care medicine in a daytime, lower-stress environment- perfect for experienced veterinarians who enjoy problem solving and managing same-day medical cases without the pace and hours of an ER setting.&#xa0; 
 We are looking to hire two full time veterinarians working 3, 12 hour shifts per week. You will be given a competitive base salary + ProSal. We offer fully paid health, vision, dental, short-term and long-term disability insurance, 401K + company match up to 4%, CE allowance and travel, PTO for CE, reimbursement for licenses and memberships, monthly commission bonus, sign on bonus, help with relocation costs, pet care discounts, uniform allowance, and vacation/sick time.
