West Ashley Veterinary Clinic is a privately owned, thriving, small-animal practice, with a caring and supportive crew. We are located in beautiful Charleston, SC. We're close to many local beaches as well as beautiful downtown Charleston. We moved into our current spacious and state-of-the-art facility in 2011.

Our modern hospital is equipped with digital radiography, digital dental radiography, iM3 dental machine with high speed hand-piece, a new GE Versana Premier ultrasound, therapy laser, Idexx in-house lab equipment, Storz flexible endoscope, modern anesthetic monitoring machines and a ventilator. We have seven large exam rooms as well a "quiet" room; a spacious, two-table surgical suite; an ultrasound room and a dedicated dental station.
West Ashley Vet utilizes electronic medical records and Cornerstone PM system. Remote record access is available. Veterinarians have access to dictation software to assist with EMR input.

DVM or equivalent from accredited program is required
Proof of current SC licensure (or eligibility to be licensed in SC), liability insurance, SCDHEC and Federal controlled substances licensure
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong computer skills for data entry (EMRs) and communication
Physical requirements include but are not limited to extended periods of time, standing, walking, lifting, talking with clients; periods of sitting with computer and phone use; periods of stooping and bending.
