The Seattle Animal Shelter (municipal open-admission) is hiring a Shelter Veterinarian: performs high volume spay/neuter and other soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries, provides veterinary care for the shelter medicine program including prescriptions, examinations, diagnostics; performs forensic exams/necropsies and assists with criminal investigations; program enjoys full digital and dental x-rays, touch ultrasound, in-house Idexx machines, tonopen; performs dental procedures; supports the foster/volunteer and animal care programs; provides management support to the Medical Director and oversees 3 LVTs and a dedicated CSR.
