Toledo Blade Animal Clinic in North Port, Florida is offering externship opportunity at our 2 doctor Small Animal practice. Externs will be exposed to the daily activities of a busy small animal practice. Externs will gain experience in radiology both positioning and technique, labs evaluations, ultrasonography, surgical experience, animal restraint techniques, client communication and education among other aspects. The extern will learn the nuances of practice from the standpoint of an associate as well as from a practice owner. We will show the extern the value in our wellness program as well as the value in communication between staff members, client interactions and will include doctor to doctor communication.
